Are you looking for a place to talk about things without fear of being judged or misunderstood? I support and guide clients, especially couples, young adults, and those with faith-related matters. My passion is helping those with life’s challenges, anxieties, and stressors. It can be difficult sometimes, but it doesn’t mean you must go through them alone.

 

During my high school teaching, I've spent time understanding the pressures related to high school and appreciating the importance of fostering a safe and trusting environment. Working with couples is an area I'm particularly passionate about. I understand the complexities of maintaining a healthy and fulfilling relationship and the importance of navigating the challenges around communication issues and intimacy concerns. As someone who understands the relationship between faith and mental health, I will help those navigate the intersection of beliefs and mental balance.

I can direct a client’s examination of how feelings impact behaviors and the body’s physiological responses, collaborate on goal-setting for desired therapy outcomes, and periodically review progress toward goals.

I utilize problem-solving skills training, often a cognitive-behavior intervention that provides a framework for addressing complex life challenges. It’s a four-step process that examines the current approach used when problem-solving, carefully defines the problem being addressed, brainstorms and evaluates possible solutions, and implements and follows through.
