Does it feel like your life is just not working for you? You want to make changes, but you are not sure where to start. Fear, worry, and shame can paralyze your mind and stifle your creativity. Whether working with individuals, couples, or a family, I want to know you and understand how we can improve your life, in a safe and supportive environment.

I have experience with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem, women's issues, maternal mental health, trauma, and addiction. Some techniques I use are cognitive-behavioral (CBT), psychodynamic, trauma-focused, EMDR, and person-centered therapy. I also have an EdD and I am a Doctoral Candidate pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology.

I also offer Christian counseling for clients who would like to incorporate their faith into counseling.

Together, we can discover the origins of your struggles and find a path to your ultimate goals. Contact me, and let's start your journey today. I have in-person appointments available and telehealth spots available.

Susan Scalone, MS, LCPC, CPCS

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
Maryland Certified Clinical Supervisor

Getting challenges into the light and applying truth is essential to successful counseling. I see my part in therapy as an encourager: providing hope to what feels impossible, suggesting interventions, teaching beneficial coping skills, and challenging previous ways of thinking. Most importantly, I provide safe, compassionate, and warm connections.

I have fourteen years of experience as a counselor and over 700 hours of clinical supervision experience offered to counseling psychology interns and licensed graduates. I work primarily with adults, young adults, adolescents, and teens. However, I have been effective at counseling every age group.

Please reach out to me today, and let's discuss how I can be of assistance to you. I also offer Christian counseling for clients who want to incorporate their faith into counseling.

You are never alone.
